My earliest memories involve wanting to speak up. I’d stand in front of the orange curtain in our living room and perform shows for an imaginary audience.
But when they held auditions for the school play, I’d sit silently. Desperate to put my hand up but feeling I couldn’t.
Lacking confidence at work
My career in HR followed the same pattern. Successfully supporting CEOs who believed in me for over 20 years, but unable to see the value of my own ideas. Wanting to contribute in meetings, but thinking if my idea was good then surely someone else would’ve said it. Then kicking myself minutes later when they did.
Finding the courage to quit
When my daughter started school, commuting to my London HR job became impossible. So, I left and trained to become an Executive Coach – a fulfilling career that would fit around family life.
But it wasn't as easy as I thought to get paying clients.
In my own first ever coaching session, I remember saying:
“I’m not a business sort of person” and “I’d never be able to do something like that”.
As my coach remarked, “so many limiting beliefs”.
So, if you’re telling yourself similar things while trying to start or grow your coaching business, I hear you.
Bridging the Gap
After months with little traction, I made a commitment to learn exactly how to sell coaching so I would never have to work for anyone else again.
I quickly created a process that kept clients coming in for my Executive and Career Coaching business.
Other coaches started asking me how I did it, so I began teaching my Reliable Results Path to other wonderful qualified coaches who were experiencing the same problems I had.
I’m certain you can do it (even if you aren’t)
Thanks to years of coaching, I now believe I can do anything I want. And I believe you can too.
Why? Because I’ve supported over 50 coaches to build a coaching business that’s rewarding, in every sense.

When not helping coaches to get clients and grow their business, there are three other C’s that keep me busy and happy.
Children: I have two wonderful kids, Imogen (8) and Max (6), who make me smile every day. But yes, parenthood can be intense.
Connection: I love connecting with others. I can’t help but spot what makes them uniquely brilliant. And to unwind, nothing beats prosecco, sunshine and laughter.
Courage: Since having this wake-up call at 40, courage is a daily part of my life. People comment on my ability to just do it. I’ve published a book, launched a podcast, given in-person talks, and hosted online events with over 600 people. Whatever it is will petrify me, but I’ll do it anyway. And I’m great at inspiring you to be courageous too.
You’ll find I take an ‘honesty not hype’ approach to building your business. I’ll provide a clear, personalised roadmap that honestly reflects whatever success looks like to you. I’ll be honest about what’s required to build a thriving coaching business. And I’ll give honest feedback, so you get clarity on the right words to communicate clearly and confidently with your audience.
My biggest strength – identifying the very essence of you – is underpinned by personalisation. From knowing what questions to ask, to finding the best way to weave together your unique skills and experience, my personal approach results in a business that feels 100% 'you'. You’ll build an attention-grabbing brand that inspires others and sets you apart from your competitors.
I've seen first-hand how courage can reinvigorate you and elevate your business plans. I’m always excited to see clients rediscover their passion and motivations for starting their business. It all comes from taking courageous steps towards who they’re here to be and where they want to go. My motto is: start now, get perfect later (because there’s no such thing as perfect 😉).
