Case Study: Sara went from not enough clients to fully booked

Sara Evans shares her coaching success story with Joanna Lott from November 2022 to May 2023

The Art of Coaching Business Customers

Sara Evans runs a coaching practice that serves successful business owners who recognise the need to spend more time focused on the strategic growth of their business. She helps them to get focused and hold themselves accountable. We worked together from November 2022 to May 2023.

Before working with Jo…

I needed to gain clients and make more money. I felt fear about niching in case I’d lose the career coaching clients I’d built up.

This left me in a space of insecurity where I couldn’t confidently push forward, and I felt trapped.

Sara’s Key Points

💹I wasn’t advertising my coaching services to business owners despite having a strong network as I was worried that I wouldn’t gain any career coaching clients if I switched niche.

💹The Business of Coaching has helped me to be braver, niche down, and confidently promote my services to a new niche.

💹My goal when I started The Business of Coaching was to get more clients and make more money.

💹I’ve done both. I’ve doubled my income and am on track to meet my $100K goal this year.

💹I’ve done it on my terms by leaning into my strengths and values in terms of how I market my business.

💹I’m now looking forward to being more intentional with the work I choose to do. I can now say yes to work that brings me comfort, joy and security and pays what I’m worth. And say no to work which doesn’t align with my personal goals.

What are you looking forward to next?

💹My long-term goal was to secure a large chunk of work through an organisation to give me stability alongside my individual clients. I’ve just secured that work.

💹I’m excited to launch my first Mastermind. This was something that came up on one of our calls but I was worried it wouldn’t work for my niche. I’ve since floated it by somebody, and he got excited and has told other business owners about it! So it’s happening!

What would you say to anyone considering joining The Business of Coaching?

Absolutely do it. It been an insightful journey for me.

Understand that it doesn’t matter where you are in the process of growing your business. It will make you a more intelligent, educated coach and it’s been an empowering experience. It’s also a reasonable price.

What should others know about Jo?

That you’re very open and accessible. You’re able to meet people where they’re at and it will be a very enriching experience.

Get the love and support you need to make it happen.
